Masjid-i Suleiman

A settlement in the Zagros Mountains, established in the 3rd or 2nd centuries BC and occupied through the Hellenistic, Parthian, and Sassanian periods. Archaeology has revealed a sanctuary of Herakles and possibly a temple of Athena.
