Shami
Site in the Shami Valley (Khuzestan Province, Iran), a settlement or sanctuary of the Parthian period (ca. 2nd century BCE-2nd century CE). In 1936, a team led by Marc Aurel Stein uncovered a bronze sculpture (the "Shami statue") at the site.
